NOMAD Capri 2024

In the historic setting of the Certosa di San Giacomo, Robilant+Voena offers a meditative contemplation on works by two artists, Lucio Fontana (1899–1968) and Sergio Roger (b. 1982), each exhibited in a dedicated space. Three figurative ceramics by the Post-War Italian master Fontana are placed in the chapel, with a selection of textile sculptures by contemporary Spanish artist Roger in the adjoining room. This curated presentation juxtaposes old with new, inspiring a conversation across the ages, between these modern and contemporary artworks, the rich spiritual history of the Certosa, and the Roman past of the island of Capri.
